Our Programs
Overview
At the Newton Jibunoh Expedition Campus Club (NJECC), our programs and activities are designed to empower young people with knowledge, skills, and opportunities that shape them into bold explorers, innovative thinkers, environmental champions, and impactful leaders.
Every activity we host aligns with our core purpose: to build a generation that is courageous enough to discover, skilled enough to create, and responsible enough to protect the future of Africa.
Our programs are grouped into five major pillars:
- Training & Development
- Expedition & Innovation Programs
- Environmental Advocacy
- Documentation & Storytelling
- Networking & Collaboration
Each pillar gives students the chance to learn, explore, take action, and grow in a practical and meaningful way.
Our Inspiration
Dr. Newton Jibunoh is renowned for his daring solo expeditions across the Sahara Desert and his lifelong work in environmental activism. His boldness, curiosity, and commitment to sustainability form the foundation of DNJECC’s purpose.
Through this club, students learn not just history, but the mindset and values that shaped a man who turned challenges into global impact.
